Removal from the register

Removal from the register is done via Campus-Online.

Apply for a removal from the register:

If you wish to cancel your course of study, you will need to apply for a removal from the register within the deadline (according to § 22 SächsHSG).

Removal from the register after finishing your course:

The removal from the register is done via Campus-Online. The earliest possible day of removal from the register is the day that your course is completed.

If there is no colloquium planned for your degree, the day of removal from the register may also be the day that you submit your thesis.

Please note that every graduate is required to hand in their thesis and entry document at the university's library.

Deletion from the register ex officio:

If you have to be exmatriculated for official reasons, you will receive a notice of exmatriculation. To do this, apply for exmatriculation in Campus-Online. (to be applied for according to §22 SächsHSG).

 

Important notes:

The removal from the register generally takes place at the end of the semester (according to SächsHSG).

You will receive the de-registration certificate and the pension insurance certificate in digital form via Campus-Online.

Please note that you should keep your certificate of removal from the register safe, as you will need it for applications to various organisations (family-, health-, and pension insurance, job centre, change of university).
